The Heartache of Disappointment Group

Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we hoped for and can leave us feeling disappointed. The heartache of disappointment can dig deep. Perhaps you feel disappointed with yourself, with another person, or with certain parts of your story. Disappointment can be overwhelming and incredibly painful, leaving you feeling shattered and broken.

Perhaps you have experienced heartache from the death of an expectation, hope, or a dream. Disappointment can impact our relationship with self, with others, and with God. The heartache of disappointment can evoke feelings of anger, sadness, anxiety, and self-doubt.

Disappointment hurts, there is hope, and there is a healthy way to process the heartache of disappointment.

Parenting From Wholeness & Not From Our Wounds Workshop

Parenting is an adventure filled with many different experiences. Each season of parenting offers an opportunity to learn more about your children. At the same time, each season of parenting offers an opportunity to learn more about yourself, so that you can keep growing into the parent you desire to be. How’s your parenting? As a parent, we have the opportunity to model, to teach, to encourage, and to empower our children to be who God created them to be. Parenting is a gift and how we parent is significant to our families legacy. Emotionally healthy parents have the potential to create healthy home environments where children can learn to thrive. We want to be parents who parent from wholeness and not from our wounds.

Many things in our lives have shaped the kind of parents we have become. Reflecting on your personal journey offers an opportunity to become aware of what and who has shaped your parenting. We want to parent from wholeness so that our family relationships are healthy and thriving.

Join me for a 1-day workshop where I come along your side to help you reflect, examine, and encourage you to be the parent God desires you to be. You taking the steps to learn and grow will impact you and your kids forever!
